Ability to consider opposing ideas as true.

Once we have decided on a position regarding some matter we must still consider that an opposing idea may be equally or more correct, even if we can’t see it right now.

Unable to honestly consider the opposition to our beliefs as possibly true, we may resist new updates, get stuck in dogmatic traps or commit ideological mistakes, without being able to correct errors.
